New Features Released

Dear WebNotes Users,

It’s been about a month since we released WebNotes’ invite-only Beta to the public, and since then we have received a tremendous amount of feedback. Thank you to those of you who participated in our survey, and congratulations to Scott Blitstein and Peter Karlberg for winning our raffle.

New WebNotes Release

Today we are excited to release a new set of features and bug fixes, including:

  • An entirely new sharing utility
    • Share annotated pages with multiple recipients
    • Input recipients easily with auto-complete
    • Sharing emails have been completely redesigned and contain a screenshot of the page with snippets of annotations

  • Multi-colored highlighter tool (Premium feature sneak-peak)
  • “Right click” annotation in Firefox
    • Hide your toolbar and annotate web pages just by right clicking the page and selecting either “Create Sticky Note” or “Highlight Text” from the context menu

Premium Features

Many of you have expressed interest in our upcoming premium features, and we’ve decided to give you a sneak peak of what’s to come. In our recent survey, we asked what features you would like to see, and a great many of you requested the ability to highlight in multiple colors. As such, we now bring you multi-colored highlights!

Multi-colored highlighting is just one the premium features we intend on releasing, and it is our hope that they will make you more efficient in your online research!

As always, don’t hesitate to let us know what you think of these updates and what we can add to better serve you.

Sincerely,

The WebNotes Team
